Momentum Curve
The curve joins the four pillars (year/month/day/hour) with the luck cycles (one per decade). The x-axis is time; the y-axis is the twelve-stage momentum score (0 to 5).
Reading the Curve · Body & Use
The “main qi” fixed by the four pillars is the body (体); the “guest qi” carried by the luck cycles is the use (用). When the Day Master is weak, the guest qi should be strong (nurturing or same-element) to supplement it; when the Day Master is strong, the guest qi should be weak (output, wealth, or officer) to drain it. That is the normal balance of body and use.

High resistance: The undefined qi is in charge — watch for adverse signals in kidneys, wisdom, flow and storage.

Direction Compass
Fixed by the Day Master’s need — weak calls for support, strong for release. Green = go / choose this direction; red = avoid. The branch directions are fixed.
Day Master weak: go toward the directions that birth and match it, to draw in support; avoid the rest.
Favor:艮(土), 坤(土), 兑(金), 乾(金)
